I^ NOTICE QF MEETING.
The Board of Trustees of the Trustees of Purdue University met in
Eliza Fowler Hall at 9:50 A. M. Wednesday January 16, 1935 in accordance
with the bylaws and in response to the following notice, mailed by the
Secretaiy to each member of the Board on Januaiy 2, 1955:
"In accordance with the provisions of the by-laws, there will be a stated meeting of the Board of Trustees of Purdue Univer¬ sity on Wednesdsy Januaiy 16, 1955 at 9:50 A. M. in Eliza Fowler Hall."
II. ROLLCALL.
There were present: Mrs. Meredith, Messrs Edgerton, Hall, Hillen¬ brand, Kimbrough, Lilty, Noel, Simpson (after 12 o'clock noon). President Ross and the President of the University.
President Elliott stated that Mr. Simpson was detained by a meeting of the Indiana Horticultural Society, of which he is President, but would join the Board as soon as possible.
President Ross presided and the Secretaiy acted as secretary.
Controller Stewart entered about 11:00 A. M. and sat with the Board during the remainder of the session.
III. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES.
The minutes of the stated meeting held October 17, 1954 were read and approved.
IV. CHANGE EI MA?INER OF APPROVING MINUTES.
President Elliott suggested that hereafter the reading of the minutes of the previous meeting be dispensed with, as each member of the Board re¬ ceived from the Secretary soon after each meeting a complete mimeographed copy of the minutes.
