M. on Tuesday, July 29, 1930, in ac¬ cordance with action taken at the annual meeting on June 9, 1930, and pur¬ suant to the following notice, mailed by the Secretary to each member of the Board on June 27, 1930. "By action taken at the annual meeting held on June 9, 1930, the Board arranged to meet at the call of the President of the Board and the President of the University. I am instructed to advise you that it has been decided that this neeting should be called for Tuesday, July 29, 1930 at 10:00 A. M., in Eliza Fow¬ ler Hall." There were present: Messrs. Edgerton, Hall, Hillenbrand, Kimbrough, Noel, Simpson, Mrs. Meredith, President Ross- and the President of the Uni¬ versity. President Ross presided and the Secretary acted as secretary. Controller Stewart sat with the Board throughout the session. I^ RECEIVING OF BIDS K)B CONSTRUCTION OF TOOmS DUNCAN LABORATORY OF ELECTRICAL MEASURBvENTS AND FRANKLIN LEVERING GARY MEMORIAL HALL (NORTH) AND TUNNEL EXTENSION. As 10:00 o'clock, on July 29 was the time set for receiving bids for the construction of the Thomas Duncan Laboratoiy of Electrical Measurements, of the Franklin Levering Cary Memorial Hall North, for the Heating Tunnel Extension, etc., this was the first order of business. Controller Stewart, Messrs. Bushnell and Hamilton, the architect, Mr. Scholer, and Mr. Frank M. Cary entered, followed by representatives of the bidders. Controller Stewart read the nemes of those who had filed bids, and it appeared that all bids had been received.
