A special meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at 10:00 A. M.,
Friday November 15, 1929,  in accordance with action  taken at the meeting of
•October 9,   1929,   and pursuant to the following notice mailed by the
Secretary to each member of the Board  on November 1,   1929:
"Please note  that in accordance with action taken at the meeting of October 9,  there will  be a  special meeting of the Board of Trustees  of Purdue University on Friday, November 15,^1929,  at 10:00 A. M.,   in Eliza Fov/ler Hall."
There were present;    Mr.  Edgerton, Mr.  Hall, Mr.  Hillenbrand, Mrs. Meredith, Mr.   Noel, Mr.   Simpson,  President Ross and  the President of the University.
President Elliott reported that Mr. Lilly had expected to attend the meeting but had oeen prevented, and that Mr. KimbrcTugh had a previous en¬ gagement of importance.
President Ross presided and the Secretary acted as  secretary. Controller Stewart  sat with  the Board during the session. Mr. Hillenbrand presented his  certificate  of reappointment for three years,   beginning July 1,   1929.
