This publication provides Indiana commercial vegetable growers with a summary of currently recommended varieties, seeding rates, fertilizer rates, and weed, insect, and disease control measures. Instructions are given for safe use of agricultural chemicals. New editions are published every two years, with a supplemental edition published in alternate years to include changes in production practices and weed, insect, and disease controls. This publication provides state recommendations for processing tomato production for mechanical harvest, including fertilizer rates, seeding, and cultivation.
