PURDUE UNIVERSITY Agricultural Experiment Station Circular No. 55 LaFayette, Ind., June, 1916 THE CREAMERY AND TESTERS’ LICENSE LAW REPORT OF THE WORK FOR THE YEAR ENDING MARCH 31, 1916 O. F. PURPOSE The purpose of this publication is to present to its readers the work and the results of the administration of the Indiana Creamery and Testers’ License Law for the year ending March 31, 1916. II. RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE LAW Creamery Licenses Creamery licenses are issued to creameries, shipping stations, cheese factories, ice cream factories, milk condensing factories, market milk plants and all other individuals and firms buying milk or cream on the butter fat basis upon compliance with Sections 1, 2. 3. 4, 6, 7 and T3 of the Creamery License Act and with the following rules and regulations: Rule 1. Creamery Report Blank and License Fee.—On or before April 1 of each year a creamery report blank must be properly filled out, duly sworn to and sent, together with a remittance of the-license fee of $6.00'(six dollars), to the Chief of the Department of Dairy Husbandry, Purdue University Agricultural Experiment Station. LaFayette, Indiana. Application blanks are furnished by the Creamery License office upon request. The fee for creamery licenses issued after April 1 of any year will be rated at 50 (fifty) cents per month, or any part of a month. These licenses are valid until the succeeding March 31. when they should be renewed in the regular Planner. This special provision applies only to persons or firms who start operations after April 7.
