IV and above) Clothing (Advanced) Arts & Crafts (Crafts) Revised Projects Entomology Photography Foods III (exhibit) Soil & Water Conservation The following changes in "4-H General Rules and Policies" replace items 1, 2, 3 and 5 at the bottom of oa^e 2: 1. AGE. a. 1964 Membership—10 to 20 years of age within the current calendar year. 1965 Membership—10 to 18 years of age within the current calendar year. To Enroll in 4-F Beginning Age Must be 9 years old by December 31, 1964 I in ’65 Current year 10 years of age December 31, 1965 must be at least 10 Upper Age 18 years or under as of December 31, 1964 Current year 19 years of age December 31, 1965 must not be over 19 b. 1964 Junior Leadership—14 to 20 years of age within the current calendar year. 1965 Junior Leadership—14 to 18 years of age within the current calendar year. c. Judging Contestants—The judging program is under revision by a State Committee at the present time. d. 1984 Demonstration and Public Speaking Contestants —To be eligible to represent the county in the district contest, the 4-H member must have been enrolled in grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 during the preceding school year or be out of high school and under 21 sometime within the current calendar year. 1965 Demonstration and Public Speaking Contestants— To be eligible to represent the county in the district contest, the 4-H member must have been enrolled in grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 during the preceding school year or be out of high school and under 19 sometime within the current calendar year. e. 1964 Roundup—14 to 20 years of age within the current calendar year. 1965 Roundup—14 to 18 years of age within the current calendar year. f. 1964 National Award Program—15 to 20 years of age within the calendar year. 1965 National Award Program—15 to 18 years of age within the calendar year. 2. ATTENDANCE AT COLLEGE. a. Projects—No boy or girl is eligible to exhibit those projects that should be in progress while he or she is enrolled in a regular two- or four-year college course. b. Activities—No boy or girl is eligible to compete in demonstrations, judging, dress revue or public speaking who has attended regular classes as a student in any college, university, or any school beyond the high school level. 3. MARRIAGE. Married young men and women are eligible for 4-H Club work (except in counties where ruled otherwise) but are not eligible for out-of-state trip awards beginning in 1964. 5. STATE JUNIOR LEADER CONFERENCE QUOTA. County quotas will be based on 6 per cent of the previous year’s junior leader enrollment.
